Pond is fine, unfortunately staff & parents do a poor job supervising. Hate seeing the wildlife tortured. Geese being chased & having rocks & sand thrown at them, not by toddlers but preteens & up., very disheartening. I won’t even get into the music blaring. Staff appears at 5: 00 informing everyone pond closes at 5:30 . Website & signs clearly state pond is open 10:00 to 6:00.

This park is getting worse, it was a nice park but it’s slowly getting run down, the swimming area is getting smaller. They only allow half the parking lot to be used. They took away grills they had and made the area for grill use smaller. The bathrooms were bad, and this place is becoming less enjoyable.

We attended a memorial remembrance fo a relative. It was a beautiful day . If you are handicapped you don’t have to pay for parking, otherwise there is a parking meter to use. Our get together was in the stone pavilion which was a great size with a roof and pretty view of the water and trees. However, if handicapped, it was a long bumpy walk whether it was across a grassy field or stony walkway. We brought our service dog without a hitch from anyone or at least one other dog. Plenty of room for kids to play, even playing ball. There was a ranger available , if needed. Very pleasant day!
