A must stop! It’s about a 15 minute drive to the overlook. At the top there is a small turn around and a few parking spaces. There is a nice paved walkway to the actual overlook. My family enjoyed a picnic here and took in the stunning views. The coolest thing that we discovered while at the overlook was the shadows the above clouds left on the mountainside!!! It looked like there was fires along the mountainside but it was the cloud shadow!

My daughter found a grave on the mountainside from the 1880s. Other than some trash people have left behind and carvings in the railings this is a must see.

One of our most favorite views in the mountains. Visited it a few times in the fall of last year. Very short & easy walk, as others have mentioned, and the views are incredible.

This observation deck has to have some of the best views of the area by far. Seeing everything in fall color was magnificent. We went around 3:30 on a Sunday and had it to ourselves. The walk to the deck is probably about a 10th of a mile and wheelchair accessible. This view has all the rewarding scenary without the hard work usually needed on hikes to see the same views. I highly recommend visiting this spot.
