Right off the highway with a big parking lot and nice bathrooms. (NULL fee for regular parking)It’s a close walk from the parking lot which is convenient. It is rocky and up on a slant but there are more areas on the other side of the river (first time here so not sure how to access that side)Overall clean, beautiful, and dog and kid friendly. What every parent wishes for! ✨

If you park at day use river access you will find a large parking area and you have access to all the sites. Easily within walking distance. I went to the Sutters Mill Replica and the Sutters Mill original location at the river. Very interesting. There are picnic tables for your use. A great place to go and enjoy yourself and see some real history. Don’t forget to see the museum.

NULL cash to park. Lot was empty on a tuesday. Not a lot of shade. Decent and clean restrooms. Right on the river, convenient for floating or boating.

The loop goes around some hills along near the river. The main path is clear & wide. Some trails go down to the river. Deer trails can be taken up the hills. Better to come around spring when everything is green. No poison oak seen but they have tons of star thistles. People often bring their dogs for this walk.

Pretty easy 2.5 mile loop trail, had some nice spring flowers

Great family and animal friendly trail, just watch out for poison oak. It is all along the trail, but the trail is wide enough to avoid it. The Garle trail loop is about 2.5 mile long.

Very short for a horse trail, but passable even after a storm. I just went around three times to give my mare a better workout.
