Ate lunch with my son there and it was ok, but a little underwhelming. Just a few tables under some trees. Two nice pavilions. Limited amenities and very little signage talking about the history of the Erie Canal there. The playground was very basic. There were small restrooms.

We paid for the use of the pavilion but it’s unfortunate. There is no electricity even now they said they would be. Bummer but it was a nice location.

Connected to the Erie Canal Trail that runs through upstate NY. Very good place to go for a walk or bike ride with very cool scenery. I’ve seen some people fishing in the creek there so there must be fish to be had, although I’m not sure if it’s just for sport. You can BBQ on site with the pits they have set up and some nice shaded areas that are great for groups. Maybe just one or two groups, as the park area isn’t that big.
