Well-loved by locals, this clean and beautifully maintained multi-use trail is ideal for dog walking, biking, running, and relaxing walks with the family. This trail stands out for its tranquility, bird watching, and access to pretty river views, wildflowers, and occasional wildlife. I love the Greenway Trail for biking and walking. It’s beautiful and you can go over to County Park via the trail.
A very peaceful place, very friendly people around, very safe, ample parking, very good for relaxation.
Here’s a rewritten review of the walking trail:
This is a beautiful, clean walking trail that’s perfect for a family outing. It wasn’t crowded on a Sunday afternoon – we saw just a few runners, bikers, and dog walkers. We enjoyed listening to the birds chirping throughout our walk. The 4-mile round trip was a great workout!
I frequently run through the trail to get to county park from downtown. The surface is always clean. It’s a short, paved trail next to the river.
It’s a great paved trail for walkers of all kind, kids riding bikes/scooters/skates and walking of a dog. Does fallow the conestoga river do you have a nice view. Has some pretty flowers along the sides as well as seeing some wildlife from time to time. Have used this trail many times. I use it to go to Lancaster County Park when riding my bike.
The one thing I would like to see are some trash cans put up along the trail instead of at just the one or two spots currently.
