We had our church annual picnic here…great space, was lots of fun BUT…city should have mowed knowing a large crowd coming…the tall grass was infested with mosquitos, even with repellent on, a lot of us were miserably getting eaten alive. There were limbs and debris everywhere and a few of us fell and or tripped over larger limb pieces. It’s a shame that such a nice little park is so neglected, otherwise would have been a perfect place. There were benches and play areas. We brought in tables and portable pottys, grills and tents. If it were better maintained, I would have given it at least 4 1/2 stars.
