Fantastic local amenity, even more so now with the new Dent Loop Extension. Great for walking, running, cycling. Very large dog pen. Great place to walk off the calories after brunch in Windham. (Also an excellent low elevation / low effort spot to soak in fall foliage.)
This is a serene setting for a brisk walk. Well maintained trails, Mountain View’s and river paths. Out space with respectful visitors. The trail is a circular loop that’s relatively easy to hike. If you are lucky, you might see some wildlife. Great activity to get the blood flowing.
Beautiful and not too long. Did the whole thing twice on bike even at 92 degrees. I saw some people pushing wheelchairs and while it’s possible, some areas are very steep and some are rocky
Great walking path and area surrounded by beautiful mountains. Lots of birds and animal life in a picturesque setting. Great for bird watching and photography, particularly around the water and streams. Also found it to be a great spot for a sunset and moonrise. .
So beautiful you can propose to your lover here!
Picturesque scenery throughout.
I suggest you study the walking distances first. It can get distorted on the path trail. Parking was easy but there are other parking sites on other sides of trails. No bathrooms.
