FAQ for Rosemont Forest West Park in Virginia Beach Virginia:
Nice playground. However, because the houses around here are too close, it’s a bit uncomfortable to make noises when kids are playing.
Fun little 6 hole disc golf course tucked away
Took a lovely stroll to this neighborhood park. So peaceful, serene and humbling. Nature at it’s finest. And at 61 years old, I took a ride on the swings, forgot how conducive this is to creative thinking and meditation. Highly recommended.
This is a great Park. See below…*** WATER FRONT!!! ***Be aware that there is access to a small pond about 100 ft away on the back side of the park. You need to keep an eye on your kids and make sure you can see them at all times. Tell them they are not allowed over there.**************************Fairly well maintained park. There are pretty consistently one or two small families there. Its a nice park, not too busy so you can socially distance easy but still be safe.Nice short walking path nearby. The path is not lit at night however.Pretty easy to get to. There is a fairly busy main road access nearby off Lynnhaven Parkway. The good news is that the park is probably 50ft from the road and the benches for parents are all arranged between the park and the road.
Its sad becauae Monday their was nasty tagging on all the equipment…i called about it and it was cleaned off. So we went today about 4pm and their are high school kids with nasty music and foul talking. Its a park for kids not a hang out spot.
