Fantastic natural area and trail system. Feels like you are are far removed from city life. Lovely streams. Surrounded by beautiful farms etc.
A very nice park. Lots of places to hike. Some wide roads and narrow trails to make it fun. Sort of a maze once you get in there. Some elevation gains. Lots of geocaches in there. Different parking areas. Lots of dog walkers
Talk about multiple paths and trails that allow you to get lost in the suburbs. Paths parallel the creek and even allow you to cross at some point. Otherwise, take the bridge across. Family and dog friendly too. Lots of areas to fish if that’s your thing. Paths may have some brush that is close to the walkway and could be marked a bit clearer but it doesn’t detract from the adventure and experience.
Close to The Willows so you can park, have a picnic and get your exercise in without driving to another location.
Since it permits off-leash dog walking, this is primarily a dog park and you should expect to have large dogs jumping on you, so keep that in mind. Unlike other parks that feature grass fields, this one one is mostly wooded trails. Pretty large park for this area which is great.
Great for the pups and a beautiful trail! Found out my boy loves to swim taking him here. Also great variety of mushrooms to photograph after some rain for anyone who is into that.
