Beautiful trails, that are clearly marked. We took our two small dogs, and they loved hiking the trails. Parking was very easy. We took the yellow trail out, then headed back on the red trail. Very nice walk around the lake with a dock you can walk out over the water and take a break.
We enjoyed our visit and will definitely return again.

Enjoyed our trail ride at Clinton Nature Preserve today. Nice and cool once we were in the trees/shade. If your horse is barefoot, I would recommend boots as it’s very rocky in spots and my horses were feeling the rocks. I’d say some parts of the trail were moderate difficulty with some very uneven areas and (potentially) slippery rocks, but the trails are well maintained and wide. My only negative is I don’t feel like the map really represents the trails we saw? When you enter into the trees, there’s a rock with arrows that show a Red, Yellow, or Blue trail and, looking at the map, those might be several smaller trail sections put together? Hard to tell. I love that all trails lead back to the parking lot. Helps you choose your own length of ride if you’re building up conditioning/distance. We’ll be back! Nice, wide, field parking. We didn’t run into any dogs, but several people hiking and enjoying the trails.
