This is a great park! It is well kept with lots of equipment for kids to play on. The splash pad is great in hot days and evenings. Shelters, picnic tables, and benches throughout the park. It has a lot of big trees, tennis courts, and a skateboarding area.

I’ve been coming to this park since the 1980’s. Although it has changed over the years, it’s always been a blast. Now I bring my kids, nieces and nephews here and we have fun. I live out of state now but always try to get to the park when I can. Great trees for shade and for climbing. Adaptive swings for handicapable people, amazing!! A paved loop for walking or running. Free WiFi (what an upgrade!). A splash pad, wow! Plenty of space to roam.

There was a problem on our visit though; the men’s bathroom was in shambles. Dirty and unkempt. The “parent and baby” swing where you face each other was very loose at the top and could pose a safety hazard in the near future. It needs to be tightened up immediately. Other than these issues, we had a great time on our most recent visit.

Thank you for keeping some of the original equipment from when I was a kid. Bring back the swinging cowboy head and you’ll have an ecstatic lady!

Was nice to enjoy the weather and play with the kids. Had a wonderful time walking around with kids. A little mist didn’t stop us! We even cleaned up some trash left by teenagers.
