Its a nice restaurant just few miles from canyin lake. The view is great and also the good. You find a nice old West Town.
This hidden gem was a worthwhile endeavor! The beautiful drive out to Tortilla Flat was filled with breathtaking scenery and all the colors of the desert. Once you pop out of the mountain pass you are greeted with a one of a kind bar/restaurant flanked by a sweet treats store and gift shop. From the saddle barstools to the thousands of personalized NULL bills on the wall, this place is a sight to see. Our server Tasha provided exceptional service and cold drinks to wet our whistles. If you stop for a bite, I suggest “The Prospector”. It’s a visually stunning and savory pulled pork sandwich with a homemade prickly pear bbq sauce that I didn’t know I needed in my life until now. For dessert we went next door for ice-cream and soda where I found a decadent hand-scooped vanilla to mix with the bottled Dr. Pepper I found, yum! The next time you find yourself in the mood for a drive with great scenery and a fun destination, this adventure will not disappoint!
Great first visit! The drive is amazing and not boring at all. We loved the atmosphere of this building. Comfortable inside despite it being 105+ out. Not wait for a table and the service was great. Great portions for food. My family had burgers and they said they were very good. All in all, a fun place to visit!
