FAQ for Tionesta Beach Park in Tionesta Pennsylvania:
Awesome old-school style playground! This is an excellent playground and ball field area next to a kid-friendly shallow creek. We just happened to see it driving through Tionesta. The kids were super excited to see all the classic playground equipment. There are really tall swings a huge metal slide and an old-school merry-go-round that zips around extra fast. The park also has a nice newer safer playground set for the less adventurous. There’s a professional looking baseball field and a large pavilion available for reservations. There’s a nice volleyball court here as well. This is NOT the lighthouse park even though a few other photos show that. We did drive around the lighthouse park (and saw some weird shrines there), but this other park seemed to be a better option for us & the kids. Definitely recommend Tionesta Beech Park.
Definitely a place to take the family, or go there to site see alone.. I took the grandkids and they were jumping off of the boat docks and had a blast
Beautiful and well maintained area. I still do not understand the purpose, but it is a really nice open park in general.
Perfect place to cool off and relax with the kids. The water is just the right depth for kids to swim or play and parents can rest easy or join in on the fun!
Yes, it’s a park… A few swings and slides, but the upkeep is a disaster! It COULD BE (And apparently USED to be) a beautiful place! The swim area was overgrown with grass and weeds, and we even saw people fishing on the beach. I didn’t feel like stepping on hooks, so we went elsewhere. There was a mini golf course- If that’s what you want to call it! No one has taken care of it in a LONG TIME, as it was completely unusable! The place has SO MUCH POTENTIAL, but they need to put some money into it- To say the least! I’m not sure who owns this park, but someone needs to take over it; As the surroundings are beautiful! I just couldn’t believe that it was as run down as it was. It’s a shame.
