Riverside Park in Sunderland, MA, is a scenic destination perfect for dog owners and nature lovers alike. The park features designated off-leash areas that are both spacious and secure, making it a top choice for dog owners looking for a safe community hub. You’ll find benches and picnic spots, plenty of shade from mature trees, and waste stations for easy cleanup. Please note that Riverside Park operates on a membership basis, and access to the dog park area requires a paid annual key.
It’s a great short trail with amazing views of the river, the bridge, and Mt. Sugarloaf. To get to it, you can either follow the road to the boat ramp or walk along the marked path next to Sunderland town offices.
I love coming here for my daily walks when it’s nice out. It’s a fantastic spot to get some great views and wonderful fresh air!
Nice stone trail along the river, with information markers. The trail is short which is perfect for a quick walk. Will have to check it out when the weather warms up. I enjoyed the view of Sunderland’s Blue Bridge!
