Some of the nicest people I’ve met. Went to pick up a truck for work. Long story short ended up stranded but the people welcomed me with open arms. It was like I knew them for years. I’ll be coming back for sure.

I was accosted by the rudest man when I got there. BK, the manager was in a golf cart when I arrived. I rolled my windows down and asked him where I could pitch a tent. He said I couldn’t have my dogs (which is nowhere on the website or Facebook), so I went to leave on my 40 mile drive back home. He comes flying after me and almost hits me with his golf cart as I’m leaving. He then proceeds to yell at me angrily for no apparent reason. As I was driving out of the exit, he pulled along side of me and ordered me to stop. It’s probably because I’m black.

My family has been camping at Sunset Park for over 20 years! We love this place. It’s family-friendly, quiet and full of beautiful trees. There are two very nice lakes in the park where you can fish, boat and enjoy the scenic views. The camp manager is very accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this campground to anyone that will be in the area!
