Baumgartner Park

Baumgartner Park in Sterling Heights offers a friendly and accessible outdoor space that is great for dog walking and family activities. The park features wheelchair accessible entrances and parking, a playground with slides and swings, picnic tables, a baseball field, and public restrooms. While dogs are allowed and there is a nice walking area near the river, the park is fenced and sometimes closed early, which may limit certain dog activities. Overall, it’s a pleasant spot for families and pets to enjoy some green space and recreation.
Reviews
Entire park fenced and chained closed despite arriving at 7:30am, when park hours are posted as 7a-8p. Excess fencing and landscaping actively discourages enjoying views of the river and nearby woods. Park fine for sports, but poor for dog walkers or folks who just want a bit of green.

Erik was the parking lot food runner, this fine young man had hustle and lots of it.
So glad we ordered a large because we would have killed a small.
My grandkids had a great time and a very friendly atmosphere
I had a cricket game in this ground.
The grass could be cut a level down. The ball did not travel a lot
Awesome little park hidden away! Great place to walk next to the river with your four legged friend!
