The park is regularly maintained, with city workers ensuring cleanliness and well-stocked waste stations featuring poop bags and sealable trash bins. While there is no water fountain present, a playground is conveniently located about 500 feet away, making this spot a great visit for families. For those seeking a quiet, low-key outing with their pets, Sheffield Lake Dog Park Runner remains a top choice in the Sheffield Lake area.
I love this dog park. I do wish people would clean up after their pets, however, but today I saw a city worker there picking up all that was left by inconsiderate or oblivious individuals. I took my four dogs for a short drive while he was working as not to disturb him. When we returned, you could tell that it had been very well maintained. There’s a covered bench and picnic table for human visitors, and a variety of obstacles and equipment for the dogs. A filled poop-bag dispenser and sealing trash can are also graciously provided. I like the gravel park as well, as it wears down their nails during play, and it makes it easy to see “messes” when it’s time to clean up. Never busy, parking available right in front, the dogs love it, and I love the break it gives me. Great park!

Good dog park overall, we have to watch the gates as our smaller dogs can fit through. Some disrespectful owners don’t clean up after their dogs, but mostly clean

Nice and clean, I just wish they didn’t use the huge gravel for the place. It hurts the dogs feet.

During evening hours, there are very rarely any other dogs there. No water ⛲ for humans or dogs.
There’s a really nice playground about 500 ft away but the dog park, IMHO is nothing to write home about.
