Located just outside of Seneca Falls, New York, Esker Brook Trail offers a scenic nature escape perfect for families, kids, and outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy well-kept trails, lush scenery, and highlights such as a beautiful pond teeming with turtles—making it a delightful destination for those seeking a peaceful walk close to home.
While Esker Brook Trail is often praised for its cleanliness and natural beauty, please note that dogs are not permitted on the trails. This policy helps keep the area exceptionally clean and well-maintained, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all non-canine visitors. Ample signage or notifications about this rule may not be present, so plan your visit accordingly. The park is maintained regularly, and while trash bins are available, mosquito repellent is strongly recommended during warmer months due to seasonal bugs.
A lovely short walk, perfect for kids! Took us about an hour at a relaxed pace. The highlight was the beautiful pond filled with turtles—such a treat to watch. Great little nature escape!

Trails well kept but extremely bad mosquitoes and I mean thousands of them we made the hike in record time to get back to car as we were covered with bug spray and still being swarmed by them. No pictures taken as we had to hurry through.

There’s a woman that walks 3 dogs off leash that attacked my boyfriend! Beware, (bring pepper spray) you are NOT supposed to bring dogs here anymore due to the variety of birds and wildlife now!!
Good trail to walk through. Recently walked through it, some parts the grass wasn’t cut and others were. LOTS of bugs. No dogs/Dog walking, keeps it really clean. No trash in the bins, so it must be regularly maintained.
