I have adopted from this shelter twice and it is phenomenal. The way it is run by Christine Conte and the care for all the animals is the best around. These animals get the best medical care and so much love. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable. All the volunteers give the best love and care to the animals and work so hard to get them all adopted. The cats I adopted from them you could say were rescued but I was the one that was really saved. All absolute loves of my life. So much happiness and joy this shelter has given me and I would always think of them first when adopting, THE BEST IN RESCUE!😻🦮❤️

I cannot overstate how kind the staff were. They were very knowledgeable about the animals and they all looked very well cared for. I recommend people donate to them to ensure they can continue taking care of any animals in need! 🙂

The best no-kill animal shelter! Staff is always so friendly and compassionate. They do everything to make sure the animals are well taken care of and go to the right homes. They even keep shelters outside for stray cats to stay warm.

I visited this animal shelter today, hoping for a positive experience, but was met with extremely rude and unprofessional behavior. Upon arriving, I was aggressively questioned by the staff about whether I had an appointment. I explained that I had booked one through their website, but was told repeatedly—almost interrogatively—that they don’t accept online appointments. Even when I showed them proof of my appointment on their own site, they had no response.
While one of the women I spoke to was a bit kinder, the man who greeted me at the door was shockingly unfriendly and dismissive. I’m appalled that someone with such a poor attitude toward people in need is working at a shelter that relies on community support. Overall, a deeply disappointing experience.
