Beware of fish poachers at night.
Nice for what it is (pretty small area, you can walk the whole thing in 5 minutes). The highlight is actually the numerous benches with the smart/clever sayings (almost like people were trying to one up each other). People clearly fish here and with that comes some fishing litter (people… do better!). There is a cute covered pavilion with some older looking articles from when this was the train station area. The view of the river and bridge is nice enough (although the area tends to have a lot of car traffic (noise), even on the weekdays – I was there on a Tuesday). It is a nice place to take a break from the beach quite literally across the street (and that is the parking lot as well). If you can incorporate this in your walk/jog daily it is a great place to stop for a spell.

Small riverfront park with beautiful river and bridge views, lots of benches. Parking is across the road. You can visit both river and ocean sides within half-hour.
Great river to jet ski in. It’s huge! We go out several times a week and often see dolphins and sometimes even sharks. Fun place
