Nice spacious park. There is a huge pond that is great for casual fishing. There is a couple pavillions with picnic tables and grills. The park is nice. I’m giving 3 stars because I feel this park would be perfect with a splash pad. It’s busy and large enough. I feel our area would really benefit from this.
We brought my toddler grandson here to play and he had a great time! He was climbing up the jungle gym and going on the play structures and sliding down all the slides. They have really cool swings here set up so that the toddler and parent can swing together. Then my son took him up the big hill in the next field and they rolled down it. Then we played on the conga drums, xylophones, and tubular bells which was awesome! I’ve never seen anything like that in a park!
Absolutely gorgeous lake and walking path around it. It’s a hidden paradise I didn’t discover until living around here for several years. It’s a perfect place to sit and think or walk around.Several covered areas with picnic tables underneath.Plenty of trash cans and portapottys here on 8/20/2024.I don’t fish but it has a fishing dock. And I would recommend bringing bug spray on a visit here because there’s lots of flying insects like mosquitos etc around the lake. Also has a giant hill in part of park, not sure if it’s for sledding it’s pretty steep. And it’s near the airport and near train tracks so you get pretty views of planes taking off and of trains going past.Sometimes phone/data signal isn’t that great out here, as a heads up.It also has cornhole/bag throwing areaAnd outdoor volleyball courts!
Nice tennis courts. Outhouse. Quiet park that isn’t usually too busy. There is not a playground
