Great off leash did Park with squirrels to keep the dogs mind going. Ever since I find it I take my boys there almost everyday and they love it.

Large “off leash” park for the doggos. FYI it’s not fenced so be cautious of your dog running into the little parking lot – better for dogs that have training vs puppies. Convenient location and accessibility near University Heights and Balboa Park! A bit dusty fyi

Great dog park, only downside is there’s no fence between the parking lot and other areas of the park so hopefully your dog has good recall, I view this as a plus however because my dogs do have good recall and it’s less hassle with the leashes and timing of other people coming and going through double gates that are typically there. It’s an L shaped park with a grassy and tree filled area that’s tighter but also then has a very wide open area that has dirt. Poop bags and trash bins are well used and placed throughout the park as well as a water station

Great off leash dog park, not fenced in, though part of it has some grass and trees. There are great mountain bike or walking trails starting at the dog park through Florida Canyon towards the zoo and Pershing. Watch out for foxtails in the spring and fall! Also rattlesnakes, coyotes.

Peaceful and large dog park with logs for dogs to sniff and walk on. The ground is mostly dirt and woodchips which is not so rough on paws but it’s not as nice as grass. Owners should note there are no fences so if your doggo has a tendency to roam, you may need to keep an eye out.
