FAQ for Sampson State Park Beach in Romulus New York:
Nice clean state park. We have been camping here for years. It’s nice to see how much it’s progressed over the years. The museum was closed but there is now an elaborate mini golf and stores.
Awesome beach we had an unbelievably fun and joyful time. The whole state park is amazing. So many new things since I’ve been there last six years ago so happy we’re gonna make it an every year reoccurrence.
Great state park for camping. Clean facilities. Great bar area near the lake with live band the Friday night we weee there. Very chill. One of the best state parks I’ve been to for sheer rest and relaxation.
It has fairly fun playground for kids, but we could only find two picnic tables under a tree (one was being used when we got there). One of the bathrooms was closed, the other was full of spiders and cobwebs. Mind you, it was before Memorial Day, but still. The rest of the picnic tables were near the parking lot.
Delightful day by the lake. Took out the paddle board, found snail shells, swam, even saw a water snake.
