Nicely arranged campsite that caters to RV’s (30a panels on all the sites). Beautiful setting, nice and quiet with views of the lake and mountains to the other side. Adjacent park is a bonus. Disappointed there are no showers at this price point (NULL/night).

It’s an excellent way to get “out of town” you can either go to the mountains or the water and I can say that I might prefer this direction. It’s an extremely scenic walk and especially as it’s connected to a preserve or no hunting area. It’s overall a wonderfully peaceful walk. I sacrificed both of my feat to walk it barefoot (literally earning myself multiple blisters, some larger than my thumb, on both feet) but I’m not mad. It was worth it.

Cool trail out to an area with birds and a bird wildlife viewing Tower.

Super easy little paved gem. There was a nice crisp breeze when I was here, so I’d imagine the smell from the lake might be off-putting to some on a stagnant day, but I had a blast! The weather was perfect and I’m super excited for the new developments opening later this year.
