It’s nice being able to take your dogs somewhere, but the only thing that they can do there is sit in the sun or under a tree. There’s nothing for them to do!

I was at the Princeton recreation center at
201 Morrison Dr, Princeton, WV 24740 to reserve and pay for the rental of the bouncy room for my grandson’s birthday party. I ask them if they disinfect the room and bouncy thing after each party and they assured me they did. My daughter couldn’t have the time slot she wanted because it wouldn’t give them time to clean the room if they had a party before her.
As it turns out there was no parties that day before her. The room was nasty, the tables had been left unclean from the day or days before, there was what looks like nasty cake smeared on the tables, cup rings from spilled drinks, and the bouncy blow-up thing was the worst. There was food and trash in it, leftover party balloons in it and laying in the floor. The floods were never swept or mopped, there was debris of lee press-on nails old balloons and used Band-Aids in the floor. There was food spatters on the walls. The walls are painted so awful that they looked like kids painted them. It was a real eye sore and caused our decorations to look tacky at best. What’s more they didn’t turn the air on and we all were sickened by the heat with so many people in there room, and we had to take most of the kid’s cloths off them. We will never rent that place again. This is a warning to anyone who is thinking of having your party there. My daughter paid NULL.00 for three hours, at that price they could afford to turn the air on.

Dog park at Princeton city recreation building. Two large areas for both small and large dogs. Very clean. Water spigot, water bags, benches, and a couple trees for shade. No restrooms. A few toys on site. Would bring my dog here again.
