I spent at least 2 hours and scarcely scratched the surface. Lots of through trails, very well marked. Several scenic elevation points. Other than foxtrot or whatever it’s called near the parking space, I didn’t manage to find the ascents, but they are out there. If I had more time I would have gone farther, but decided to call it a win after a clean red green tail jog walk loop.

Peaceful place to enjoy nature. Nice trails and not crowded even on a perfect fall day.

This is a great place to hike and there are many options for longer or shorter routes. I went in the evening and it was quite quiet which was nice and there was lots of wildlife around. trails are marked pretty well and the numbers at intersections are helpful

Beautiful park with leanto and tent camping sites. Reservations are in person only. Open year round! Lots of trails throughout the 4700 acres. Very nice picnic areas with grills . Some right by the river. Love this place!

This is a gem of a park. You can spend hours hiking trails with some great views. Trails are very well marked and maintained. The lean to sites are great and have nice fire pits. We did a backpacking trip and hiked in 8 miles from the parking lot on Michigan Road, then because of the layout of the trails were able to do just 2 miles on the way out.
