I love this park. It has something for everyone it seems. Frisbee golf course, tennis courts, baseball fields, skate park , off leash dog park, outdoor swimming pool, water splash pad, picnic pavilion and tables, and wonderful big trees all over. My dog and I love to come here, it’s such a gem of a park!

Best disk golf park ever. Played 20 lanes. The new 2a and b lanes across the bridge were a big added bonus.

I loved the park, and the Redwood trees (I’m pretty sure the majority were Redwoods), visiting in mid July. It was clean and looked fairly well maintained troughout.from what I could see.
It was a great way to escape the afternoon heat, as it cool in the shaded forested parts (most of the park from what I could see), while the rest of Portland was in the 90s. You want to bring your own water, fountains were few and far between, at least on the Disc Golf course from what I could tell.
I was here with a friend while waiting for a flight out in the evening and picking up 18 holes of Disc Golf. Im not big on Disc Golfer but I still loved the course, eventhough the groups playing kind of backed up on each other.
It was a Saturday afternoon so the volume of people on the course was not unexpected. Everyone we ran into was pleasant and we all managed to wait patiently or let each other play through.
There looked like a lot of picnic space along the edges, plus some public tennis courts, and at least one basketball court.
Parking was mostly street parking from what I could see, and we drove down past a dozen cars on each side of the residential street before finding a spot.
There were several other spaces down the block and people seemed to be coming and going fairly regularly, but it might be worth a note to get there earlier than when you plan on weekends and busy times to give yourself some time to find a parking space.
Overall it was a very charming and a great way to kill a couple of hours outside for an afternoon. I wish all parks were like this one, spacious yet under a canopy of a large redwood forest.
