Nice park for a dog park. There’s a few amenities such as jump hoops or tunnels, water, doggy bags, etc. No shade trees. However, try planning trees where dogs pee on the tree constantly. However installing 4×4 post and install the weather resistant shade material from one post to the other could be helpful since most dog parks are completely out in the sun.
The city does have dig guards along the fence line which is a plus both for dog owners and the park people.
There is a regular park right there where you can walk your dog along a sidewalk around slinger Park if you like as well.
Restrooms are just across at the parking area.
Pleasant area and cool thoughtful walking path. Wish we had taken note of all of the signs. Watch for them on the way to the parking lot.

Great place to take your dogs! Relax on the bench while your dog’s play, separate yard for large dogs and small dogs. Basketball court, playground and ramps for skateboards all in one small area, you can watch your kids play and the dogs play in different areas while you play basketball.
I loved it! Everyone was so friendly. I just adopted a rescue dog and didn’t know how she would react to the other dogs at the park. I went and let the other owners their know and they all helped slowly introduce my dog to theirs. It was so wholesome watching her open up and make friends 💕🥰
