Greg at Smarten Up Dog is clearly very passionate and enthusiastic about working with dogs. We have a ~2 year old rescue, Billie, who is a very anxious dog and had already been through an 8-week basic training course (not with Greg) so she knew the basics but was still struggling with her leash reactivity, especially toward other large dogs. We met with Greg and started seeing improvements after his first visit. We opted for the 1-on-1 sessions and were very pleased with the attention Greg brought to our specific needs and helping Billie. Greg traveled to us in many cases, found parks where we could slowly work on training while near other dogs, and coordinated to bring other dogs to ultimately help teach us how to help Billie greet other dogs and remain calm in their presence. We can’t recommend Greg enough for any of your dog training needs, and he’s a very friendly character too!
