Everything about this place is wonderful! Check-in was easy, our site was beautiful and roomy. All the folks we met while staying here, were respectful and friendly. Walk up to the marina and look at the giant carp fish that are used to getting fed cheese puffs (you can buy inside the marina). If you have children or grandchildren, they will get a kick out of seeing these giant fish at the dock area. Also, the marina has good food and very reasonable. We enjoyed the taco salad and their spinach and strawberry salad, and their Reuben! 😋 We took our boat out on the lake while here, lots of fun. You can also rent big pontoon boats at the marina for NULL an hour on weekdays and NULL a day on the weekends.
If you’re bringing a big rig here, there is only one road leading in to cg and it is pretty winding and narrow a little bit of a white knuckler but not horrible just beware. The bathrooms are pristine and they have a laundry room here too. We saw the sheriff department and the park rangers daily patrolling this campground. We met many locals that make this place an annual stay. If I’m ever in this area again, I definitely would stay here again.

This is one of our favorite places to bring our kids to play at the multiple playground. I gave it four stars instead of five because all the facilities our still not opened for the season. We also enjoy the multiple hiking trails.

I haven’t stayed at the campground, I’ve driven through the camping area. It’s a little crowded. There’s plenty of rv sites and tent sites. The bathrooms are clean. It’s first come first serve, no reservations. Lot’s of picnic areas, fishing ans boat ramp, nearby.
