Only drawback, no bathrooms at park. Places kinda close at eateries.
This park is a nicely kept, quiet park with great views. There was plenty of seating and flora to enjoy. Great place to sit back, relax, and take it all in!
Came at Christmas with 10 family members. We had a great time; kids menu was perfect for the kids we had. Great place!
Beautiful place! The islands offshore even look maintained. There’s a playground, field, gazebo, fountain playground, track for walking/running & even zipping around on the electric “Bird” scooters which were a blast (even for us adults). On the scooters; a word of advice: Make sure you ended the ride on the app, took the picture of the scooter, did all the end the ride things or it’ll just keep charging its (currently) .44 cents per minute. I luckily saw before we left ours was still blinking red which seems to mean “actively charging you money”. Still, total blast and does not take away from park. In fact, adds to it. Everyone we met in Old Town was friendly, too. And right next to a great place for the family to eat! Highly recommended.
We thoroughly enjoyed watching the UMO marching band today.
Great place for hanging out with a group since there is no much traffic yet near few good places to eat. The park is very neat and clean lots of parking spaces probably navies most people living in Orono would be walking or biking to the park in the summer. Usually not busy during weekdays.
Really nice park with a nearby playground. The pathway with a really small staircase (three steps) goes toward and to the back of the new Pepper’s Landing restaurant. The other pathways seem to link around connecting each other before meeting up at the closest precinct behind a big apartment. Located right across from the dam and offers nice views of across from the park. Tim’s Little Big Store is nearby if you want something there and if you want a sub, stop at Subway nearby. Overall, pretty and beautiful park with some parking spaces nearby (for Pepper’s Landing customers only).
A one stop place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Old Town Maine. It is located at the epicenter of Old Town, just overlooking from The Rock Church. There is a play ground for children as well as the rivers that’s flowing with such a beautiful scenery.
Kid play park and a little splash pad make this park very family friendly. Lots of walking, sitting and picnic space. Bring some lunch and spend the day being outside and enjoying the beauty of nature on the Old Town Riverfront. Kids can play and blow off some steam, without being cooped up inside.
