What can I say? Pete and Sue make this place what it is, and that’s simply amazing! I have had my 3 year old sons birthday parties there for 2 years in a row and play on continuing the tradition for years to come.

We stayed in our trailer with hookups. Easy backing in and easy hookup. The sites were big. Check in was simple and staff was great. The camp host, Pete and his wife, were so friendly. Happy to bring us wood or just chat. Bathrooms and showers were clean and maintained. Trails were nicely marked, the float path was cool, beach was really nice. We will come back.

Came for a star party at the observation center and it was amazing! Incredible speaker that spoke about the James Webb Telescope and over a dozen telescopes with knowledgeable and friendly volunteers at each. Will definitely go back!!!

Neat park, with some easy gravel trails to hike. Plus, there is an observatory for all the night sky lovers. There is also a neat disc golf course as well, well though out and fun to throw. It’s worth a stop to explore and enjoy some awesome minnesota beauty!

Fall colors make this the perfect spot. There is an observatory! Every other Saturday they set out the telescopes.

Campground was gorgeous. There is a boardwalk that takes you between the disc golf, walking trails and campground.

We were there for the 18 hole disc golf. Great open area for majority of holes. Several holes along the trees on the lakes walking path.

Beach was really nice next to a dock. Really relaxing!
