FAQ for Niobrara State Park in Niobrara Nebraska:
We loved this park! I’m from Omaha and wish I’d discovered it sooner. The tent sites are completely separate from the RV campground, which gives a more remote vibe(we tent camped). Staff was friendly and the foot paths make for an easy hike or way to connect with the other tent sites. The cabins looked nice, too, so we may explore that option in the future!
Very nice state park, the wildlife didnt cooperate, but the scenery was beautiful, as well as the drive. The ladies in the park office were very helpful.
Wonderful river trail with lots of opportunities to hop in for a cool down in the summer. Love that it’s dog friendly. Great campground, super quiet. Bring quarters for the shower though ☹️
A cool park, the kids enjoy it! If you’re going in summer plan on it being hot, there are a lot of neat trails but there is a lot of elevation change, so bring water and good shoes. Some trails are wooded but a lot are open prairie with views for days. Campsites are clean and well maintained by friendly staff!
Park was pretty and well maintained. Plenty of spots available to chose from for not having a reservation based on first come first serve. Showers and bathrooms were clean and helpful park hosts . We have a 40 foot motorhome and we paid NULL for the site with electric no water and added was a NULL daily fee for state park. A bit steep for no water hookups but the did have a fill up area and dump station
