Awesome park in beautiful Sand Creek, right on the Red Cedar River!
Plenty of tables for picnics too.

The river in front of this park is an excellent place for pike and bass; it is wadable most of the year. Sometimes, I have been told you can catch giant trout by the mouth of the creek across the river, but I have never tried. It is also a gorgeous spot in the summer

Cute little park with a fantastic Ship play area. 🤩 Small town vibes and very peaceful right by the water. Has lots of benches and things for a get together. Bathrooms are still closed currently. If you have to plan ahead.

Nice little park with Sand creek running through it. There are some swings and toys for kids to play on. It has a nice shelter that was recently built, you may need to rent it for parties… There is a small bridge to access the other side of the creek/park. And don’t forget to bring your pole, there are some decent brown and brook trout throughout this stretch.
