Premier spot for snow sledding. It’s not all the way at the top of Mt Laguna, so there may be less snow here than the nearby lodge and campgrounds.

The Meadows trail takes you to Water of the Woods, Big Laguna lake, and more.

Nice trail with lots of native plants and wildlife!! The pine trees smell amazing and provide great shade during a hot day. There are a few lakes on the trail, and it is nice to sit in front of them and watch the birds land on the water. Lots of people walking with their children and dogs, running and biking. The trails are flat, and easy to hike.

Did a midweek hike here, early November, sunny, around 60°F. A few hikers with their dogs, and mountain bikers, but not crowded at all. We did the Big Laguna Lake Meadow Walk, which is relatively flat, a really nice “hike.” Saw several woodpeckers near the beginning of the trail, and a couple deer running through the trees. Lots of dried up horse/cattle poop along the trail, but it’s not really a problem. The trail is fairly well marked.

Absolutely beautiful trail! We got an adventure pass online to park for NULL and parked on sunrise, plenty of spots for a Sunday holiday weekend. I brought my dog and we all had a great time. We were able to see amazing flowers and for mid day hiking, the weather was great!!
