FAQ for Miramar Paw Central Dog Park in Miramar Florida:
The park itself seems well-maintained, but the process to get in is way too complicated. You have to register and then get an access code, which is really annoying if you just want to spend some time with your dog. I understand they want to keep it secure, but there should be an easier way. It ends up being a waste of time.
Just got my dog on Saturday and wanted to take her to a dog park for the first time. Was excited when I saw the park entrance only to get completely turned around by the crazy layout. Then I apparently needed a code to get in so I had to just go somewhere else. I followed exit signs only to be cornered at a locked gate and had to turn around on a one way road and go the opposite way despite an “exit” sign pointing me to the locked gate
Very nice, all owners must register at the office to show rabbits vaccine and obtain access code.
Like almost everything in the city of miramar , some positives, lots of negatives ! Park is divided ,then again, all are , so for one of the reviewers that said ” I love that is divided in lg and small dogs ” take ur dog more often to dog parks…the new picnic table under roof a great , now cones the bombs! No hoses , no restrooms , moccasins snakes seen many times bcs of the side little lake/ woods….and the code thingy annoys a lot of people…then again, Miramar …..btw ,to the people who go there weekdays ( gates housesare closed ) try the first 4 numbers to go in and to go out ,but prepare to sometimes do it multiple times ….why ? MIRAMAR
This is a fantastic park! I love that there are separate areas for small and large dogs, ensuring everyone feels safe and comfortable. The big dog area is spacious, but it would be even better with a paved walkway in the back. This would make it easier to navigate, especially on rainy days and minimize the risk of being in the dogs’ way.
