West Side Playground in Middleborough, Massachusetts offers a spacious, dog-friendly environment perfect for local dog owners looking for an area to walk, play, and relax with their pets. The park is especially known for its network of natural and wooded trails, making it a popular destination for anyone interested in dog-friendly hiking or walking in the region. The trails have a peaceful, scenic atmosphere, with nature to explore and plenty of space to enjoy a quality stroll with your dog.
The playground itself does have a fenced-in area, though reviews indicate the physical playground equipment and some benches may be in disrepair. Despite this, visitors highlight the park as a great spot for nature walks, and note that dogs are commonly brought along both around the trails and in the open park spaces. Ample parking makes access easy, and several reviewers praise the natural beauty and tranquility of the wooded surroundings.
PARK NEEDS HELP!! The best this playground has to offer is a fencened in area. There’s a slide missing and the structure should be taped off . Missing some other things as well. Benches are falling down as well. Park is unsafe for most ages .
My kids love this playground! Just like all of the others in this town it is in need of repairs.
This playground has been forgotten. It was something small and simple, and probably great at one time. Since then a lot of the structure pieces have been broken there are missing Springs off of some of the equipment, and much of it has been graffitti tagged
West side is the best side!!!!! Spent many childhood years playing in this playground. Of course it was a completely different layout than what it is today. We had a teeter totter, a huge slide, swings, and a merry go round. I’ll never forget those days at west side school and recesses at west side playground.
It was extremely hot during the summer and most slides burned my daughters skin even with pants on. There were a few things there that were really fun, but unless your in the area wouldn’t really recommend.
