Metropolis Legion Park is a well-maintained green space located in the heart of Metropolis, Illinois, at 1602 Metropolis St. While it’s sometimes listed as a dog park, it does not currently feature a designated, fenced dog area. The park is better known for its baseball diamonds, open fields, playgrounds, and family-friendly facilities. This makes it a pleasant spot for walking your leashed pet or enjoying a day out with the family.
Accessibility is a priority here, with wheelchair accessible entrances and parking available. Restrooms are provided for your convenience, and the park’s clean, open fields are ideal for casual exercise or playing with kids. Please note there are currently no waste stations, dog water fountains, or off-leash areas for dogs.
THIS IS NOT A DOG PARK! There is absolutely no dog park here. Three ball diamonds, not entirely fenced, no waste stations.
