Taylor Park, located in the heart of Mendon, Utah, offers a peaceful retreat with expansive grassy fields, a walking path, playgrounds, and beautiful shade trees. Though it is known for its family-friendly amenities—like two playgrounds, picnic pavilions, baseball and soccer fields, tennis and pickleball courts, and a popular splash pad—this spacious park is also a pleasant spot for dog owners looking for a scenic place to walk their leashed pets among quiet neighborhood surroundings.
This park stands out with its combination of open fields, evening shade, creek access, plenty of seating, ample parking, and clean restroom facilities. While not a dedicated dog park or a fenced off-leash area, Taylor Park invites dog owners looking for pet-friendly walking trails and shaded picnic spots, but note that posted signage indicates restrictions on dogs in some areas. Whether you’re looking to stroll with your pup, enjoy a game, or just relax outdoors, Taylor Park is a Mendon treasure with something for everyone.
Great tucked away, little park. Good shade in the evening on a hot summer day.
I love this park. It feels secluded and is always well kept. Lots of shade trees and space for running. Easily accessible.
Enjoyed watching my granddaughter compete in a soccer match at this venue

Good neighborhood park. Soccer pitch/nets, baseball/softball fencing. Playground, picnic tables. Good open expanse, not a lot of shade in mid summer other than a small stand of trees. Exceptionally quiet.
