The dog park is absolutely disgusting, there is dog poop all over the place thats been there for a long time, the grass is overgrown. And in the seating area there is dog poop by the bench!! And I’m pretty sure one of the rules said “clean up after your dog” which..nobody apparently pays attention to..
I am so sorry to the people that wanted to take there pup there and could not because of that nasty place..
I strongly recommend taking your dog somewhere else if you don’t want your dog getting sick with parasites, diseases or fleas.

Park has lots of room to run and play. Swings etc for children. Today we were there for the summer celebration for Mechanicsburg.

Its a nice park. Great track to walk pups (on leash) and a secure off leash area too. Wish I knew when more people came, so my pup could make friends.

Stopped there to let my dogs use it. Park was clean. There was a woman there with children. As she sat in her car talking on the phone she used hideous profanity. Poor children. Growing up hearing such words of hate and that being their normal. Jesus, protect those children and Holy Spirit, convict this mother of her hatred and of this example to these innocent ears and eyes.

This park is and always has been super nice, with lots of stuff to do. Ball diamond, basket ball and tennis courts, nice large shelters. New addition is a little dog park, maybe an acre or two, but totally fenced in with benches, picnic tables, and even a little shelter to sit in. Side note about the dog park: there is a water pump, and also a pipe running out of the ground where water comes out continuously, making a pool in the depressed concrete drain area for the pump. In short, if you don’t want the dog to get wet, this would be a problem for you. But my dog loves it, so if he’s happy I’m happy. 5 stars!
