We were sightseeing in the beautiful town of Marietta and wanted to find a dog park to let our four dogs run around and stretch their legs a bit. A quick Internet search revealed Jackson Hill Dog Park. And that’s where it is, in the top of a sizeable hill with nice views of the town on the way up. There’s plenty of parking and the entrance to the dog park is very safe and secure compared to some we have gone to around the country. There’s lots of open space to run in and some forested area at the top of the hill that the dogs had fun running through. There’s a drinking fountain there but it’s for people. We would suggest they add something for dogs, especially when it starts to get warmer. We brought our own water and bowls in for our gang. People have done a better than average job of picking up after their dogs which was refreshing. Nice job citizens of the Marietta area! There’s an A frame and tunnel for the dogs and a small shed, and, several benches throughout the park if that’s your thing. Thank you Marietta for this nice oasis for our canine companions!

My dog absolutely loves the park and gets super exited to go, its always very clean, well managed, and the volunteers are so nice. Most of the dogs are nice but here recently people have been bringing not really agressive dogs but not the most friendly or mindful of dogs. Other than that everyone is always so great and so friendly. (The pool is amazing and so is the ramp and tube)

The dog park itself is nice and clean with a good size field of grass. Big and small dog park side. Only a porta potty for bathroom. No hand washing or sanitizer. Lots of benches to sit on. Dog poop bag and water is provided. The one star is taken away for the shady parking lot and the rough neighborhood you have to drive through to get there. There is also a very sharp turn on the road before you get to the park entrance advise caution.
