Very nice and accessible falls. You can walk out and explore without much fear, but it’s just treacherous enough to have fun.

Great place for a hike. And see the waterfalls. The folks in the area. Are polite and very helpful. If you are ever in Lions Falls New York. You must stop in for a visit.
Nice waterfall and a good place to stop if its on your way to somewhere else. Interesting to see nature and man side by side here. The most fun part is climbing around on the cliffs but they are a bit slippery.
There are two ways to access Lyon falls. There is a little side spot you can park and walk down to the top area of the water falls.
Further down, there is a boat ramp where you can walk down and get to the “beach area” further from the falls. You can also follow along the beach to the falls themselves.
