My parents had a seasonal site down here for 2 years. It was pretty dead most weekends they were there. Of 7-10 seasonal sites that were occupied, there was only 2-3 that were there on a regular basis. There isn’t any shade there besides up by the tree line so you are out in the sun all the time. The first year wasn’t too bad. They had some issues with their full hook up sewer backing up. Ended up the sewer pipe had broke and took about 6 weeks for the owner to finally get it fixed after they asked numerous times. The second year was when things went bad. The campground owner became less and less involved in the campground and it was showing. The grass wasn’t mowed most weekends that my parents were there, so the ticks were horrible. There would be cows in the campground leaving huge piles of poop for you to step in. The owner decided that after he collected the money for the entire season, he was going to close down the campground for a weekend because ” he was going to have a family reunion” there and didn’t want to “deal” with the campground that weekend. The owner then became very confrontational after that weekend and started accusing my parents of posting anonymously on various FB groups saying it wasn’t looking too good for them. He then was going to pick and choose which rules people had to follow by saying that he wasn’t going to allow golf carts there, but another camper was allowed to have there golf cart there. He went on to say that at the end of the camping season in 2023, he was going to be closing the campground for good. It had been struggling both years that my parents had been there by the lack of campers there on any given weekend. The owner made my parents feel very unwelcome there and they packed up the very next weekend and pulled out the 3rd week in August. They had a very nice site and put in a lot of money to make their site nice. They had already been looking for a new campground to go to after this season anyways, just wanted to warn others so they don’t get screwed over and loose out on money like my parents did.
So if you are thinking of getting a seasonal site there, think about it.

Great place! We have a 38′ fifth wheel. Plenty of room, no low limbs, great open spaces. The owner Rob is very responsive. The showers were fantastic! We will be back.

The owner is a great guy to work with. The bathroom/showers are unbelievable and cleanest ones I’ve been to. It’s a nice peaceful rural setting. Nice sitting out under my awning having coffee and the light rain coming down. Will be staying here in the future. Thanks for everything.
