You can hike to Mount El Sombroso via Kennedy trail, 12 miles round-trip with the elevation gain 2,800. It’s a moderate hike. The parking lot at Kennedy Road is not existing, max you can park 2-3 cars here, but I was always able to find the parking spot of Top of the Hill Road.
Great trail to the top of Kennedy, but it’s steep and not for the faint of heart. Very limited parking at the trailhead.
The trailhead has a very tiny parking lot (for 3 cars only), but you can park in the street. The start of the trail is smooth, but after 1milr it starts going up and up for 3 miles. You cannot ride your e-bike in this trail. Oh, and there is barely any reception at the trailhead.
