Market Street has a wide variety of retail & food. My recommendations for food are Atlas Pizza for lunch and Mooney’s. Atlas Pizza has plenty of seating, great prices and the pizza is mouthwatering! As for a dinner spot, you really can’t go wrong with Mooney’s. They boast quite possibly the BEST tasting Mac & Cheese selections in New York State! I love the Lobster Mac & Cheese 😋 and the portion sizes are huge! Definitely a great place to take the family for a a good meal & great atmosphere!
An absolutely delightful little park with beautiful old trees and well thought out landscaping features – including a pavilion roofed with vines and a water fountain for kids to play in. The farmer’s market is here on Thursdays and was also really cute. This park connects the gaffer district shopping area with the Corning Museum of Glass with a beautiful landscaped pedestrian bridge over the river.
My kids love going to the fountain during the summertime. It’s usually not too crowded and it’s a nice way to cool off for free. There’s benches around for anyone who just wants to relax. There’s also walking paths and grassy areas all around too.
Stopped by the park to sit down and eat lunch. What a fantastic spot! It was quiet, lots of seating, and a wonderful view of the hills.
Great park for fun family photos. We had such a blast even though the fountain wasn’t turned on.
