Lincoln Park in Los Angeles, California, offers a spacious, pet-friendly spot for locals and visitors seeking outdoor fun. With abundant green spaces, trails, and a picturesque lake, this park is ideal for dog owners looking for a place to walk, relax, or picnic with their furry companions. The park is family-friendly with several playgrounds, a recreation center, sporting courts, picnic tables, and shaded benches—making it an excellent spot for the whole family, including your pet.
While Lincoln Park features beautiful shaded areas under mature trees, there’s limited shade at the playgrounds and open spaces. Dog owners should be aware that, although the area is well-kept and regularly maintained, there are no designated off-leash or fenced-in areas for dogs. Ample walking paths and pet-friendly trails allow for on-leash exploration, while the proximity to public transportation and street parking add to the park’s convenience.
Very Impressed!!! I use to come to this location as a teen. Back then it wasn’t safe. Today it’s totally different. Clean, family and patron friendly.

I love this park. Location is bold and can be active but it’s definitely clean and very well maintained. The pond and with fishing privileges are so nice and fun activity. Multiple playgrounds and seating area. Open splash pad so much fun. I do wish to it had coverage and shade. It definitely something the Parks and Recs need to get on cause it definitely too much exposure to sun at the Splash pad area. But it’s always a pleasure.

Nice place to walk around, bring your kids, or have a birthday party. Small play area for kids, skate boarding area, baseball cage. Plenty of street parking, small parking lot in backside of park. Lots of shaded areas. Plenty of restrooms, however they’re not always clean nor stocked with paper. Some homeless hanging around and park could use some extra maintenance, otherwise nice large park with a small lake.

The lake and buildings were nice too look at and we even spotted a heron. Only downside is how dirty the water was and garbage around the park.

The wildlife is fantastic. Feeding the ducks, squirrels and birds.
The momma birds are starting to have babies and their adorable.
