I like this park a lot. Its always well kept and its a quiet place for my nervous dog to play. She loves smelling the smells of the stables, too!

Superb dog park. Some of the best grass around. Exquisite chain link fencing. Wait staff so so. Sommelier needs training. Could use a big screen TV or two.

The park was ok for a play session but the reason I gave it a 3 was alot of poop that wasn’t picked up. I was going around picking it up so my dog or I wouldn’t walk in it. I stopped counting piles I picked up after 8. There was no reason since there was plenty of dog poop bags and trash cans. It’s not fun to play with your dog and have to watch every step. This is why dogs are restricted in many places. Please be respectful and clean up after your dogs.

North Mesa Dog Park, located by the North Mesa Horse Stables, is one of the most quiet and out-of-the-way dog parks in Los Alamos.
It’s a great place for overly friendly dogs whose behavior might be mistaken for aggressive by other dogs. Usually there aren’t many visitors to the park where that type if behavior might become a problem.

Pretty basic dog park. They have two areas, a small one and a much larger one. Both have gates with an interlock and trash cans with poop bags available. The county does a great job keeping up the parks. There are rules posted at the entrance and more info about rules can be found on the county website. The views from this dog park are amazing! The stables are also close, so if the wind is in the right direction, it can get a little ripe. The horses like to watch the dogs run around and one of my dogs likes to watch to horses and howl toward them. There is a shaded area with a picnic table.
