I love this trail. It has a lot of plant life that you won’t see elsewhere in this area and it’s a nice and easy loop trail. Great for an afternoon excursion. I’d love to know about when it will be open again.

Great 1.5 mile loop trail. Nice views, creek crossing, and hidden waterfall pool perfect for dogs.
Edit 9/28/24 Trail has been completely destroyed by tropical storm Helene. Almost all tall old growth trees have fallen across and onto the trail. Hope the community comes together, and one day, it will be restored.

I have been here before and enjoyed it. Not today. As usual, bathrooms are locked and no water at water fountain. I only walked .2 miles when I could not continue on the trail due to a large tree that fell and blocked the trail. Looks like it has been there for weeks. Why doesn’t Little Mountain maintain this park? Could be nice!!!

A great little mile and a half trail. It’s got one or two steep(ish) inclines. But overall a fairly easy walk. It’s a great little nature walk. It’s marked relatively well. Follow the asphalt trail and when that tapers off at the power lines (that’s when the trail gets really pretty), follow the trees with pink markers.

Great little trail through the forest, complete with tall moss covered trees, rock, and wildflowers. Just a magical place to explore while listening to the birds. Love the bridge which crosses a small stream.
