Marlon and his team are incredible. This is my second time bringing a dog to Marlon. I live in Staten Island and the commute is well worth it. I’ve never been more calm leaving my dog before, but I know he’s in capable and trusting hands with Marlon.
The training itself is impossible to comment on, it always exceeds my expectations.
Upon pickup, they bathed him and groomed him.

My puppy had a great experience at K9U where she went for training for 3 weeks. She came back more calm and easier to walk, which was our goal. She still has her puppy moments but knows when to calm down now around our toddler. Marlon and his team answered our questions throughout and after the training too. Our other dog went through a similar training at K9U a year agoand we still bring him back for boarding. Highly recommend k9u!
We had such a great experience sending our girl Miley to K9 experience for boarding for 2 weeks. They provided me with regular updates which were very reassuring. Miley was also trained by K9 university. We had her trained with another organization previously and they were not able to train our very reactive shepherd. We were thinking we had no choice but to rehome her when we contacted K9. Marlon was able to get her in shape after the first lesson and it she was greatly improved from there. We now have the best girl ever. She is a pleasure now. The picture included is one that they sent me while she was boarded on St Patrick’s day.
We have been sending our dog to K9U since he was a puppy in 2021, and we absolutely love the team! Everyone adores Hank as much as we do and he loves the K9U team (Marlon, Emily, Juan, etc.) so much. We know he is in such good hands every time he is in their care which makes it so we never have to worry. They are attentive, loving, fun and Marlon is an amazing trainer. We always enjoy their instagram updates and the fact that they make a concerted effort when it’s nice out to take the dogs on field trips to the park, beach, on a hike etc. to give them time and space to run around. We live in the city and one of the reasons we choose to send. Hank to K9U is so he can spend time outside, get exercise in and enjoy the benefits of being out of the city. Thank you K9U for all that you do to make Hank feel like he is also on vacation when he is in your care!
Marlon here at K9U is absolutely amazing – and that is the honest truth. My husband and I were beyond nervous to leave our 2 year old pup for boarding and training for 4 weeks. Definitely one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do was leave him but it was completely needed and so beneficial for him! The staff at K9U knew how my husband and I felt with our emotions rapid, but they kept us updated with videos and pictures. Milly never minded if I asked for more pictures or gave a call for a better talk update. Marlon truly made such a difference in training our Sonnie, he is more confident in his walks, responds so well with commands and is now teaching our second dog (who is older) the new commands that he learned. Monkey see, Monkey do – as Marlon stated! We feel very confident in this business, what they do here is incredible and not easy in the slightest! We are so thankful and doing our absolute best to keep up with commands to further Sonnie as well as we can. We will be boarding when we need to for events we have and definitely taking advantage of some Day Care sessions – for both of our dogs! Incredible business, staff and management. So proud of our boy Sonnie’s progress and it’s a huge thank you to Marlon!
