That is a hidden gem of Potomac River. We go there on a boat every time we want a quick gateway. Town docks are amazing and free for overnight use. They even have a free pump out station which works great. There are few water and electric outlets.Good ice cream place is right here in the park and Downtown with many restaurants are just a short walk away.Sunsets there are pretty wild especially after the storm. The only con is not enough electric outlets and no 50A plugs which are required for bigger boats to run AC.Even without electric hook-up, this is our favorite place to visit for an overnight stop on Potomac.

Beautiful little spot along the water with events on a regular basis! Short walk from downtown Leonardtown. We walked down after coffee but it has to be a great spot for a sunrise or sunset.

Went at night for like 15 minutes, please to see they have cameras everywhere for safety, and the board walk is lighted ( minimal). About ten people were there at night, couples, group of kids. Felt comfortable. Saw a baby crab float on top of water per a couple response and pointing it out. They have several trash bins, which is good to remove trash and clean perception of the park. The daytime is nicer, and more visible of course. Bathrooms are nice and has outlet. (was able to charge my phone)… Nice place for picnics with the kiddos.
